just got home from a night out.. surprisingly early... hahah considering most of my frens are like owls... hahahah today was a fun night out man.. learnt many new things...

events of the day are as follow:

- prepared ourselves for a surprise bday for my dearest girl, eelis... wore nice nice and i actually put on some mascara (i know i know, unlike me.. but must look nice for like eelis mah!!) hahaha, rushed out of the house cos we were almost late for the bus (which if we had missed then right.. we wld have to wait for like another hour and won't make it in time to collect the cake), so anyways, went down to the miss maud's at carillon city to collect the cake.

- kept msging illissa cos we didn't know how to take bus to their place... but apparently u can take like 10, 12 etc (sounds like sg's bus nos yah?) and of cos the YELLOW CAT... which made us wait for it for like a good 40 mins in the cold.. cos during weekends they take longer intervals to come.. and it's like feeder service of sg... ** which is like totally inefficient lah** i miss the sg bus services!!!! argh!!! so anyways, we managed to catch the bus... oh yah.. whilst we were waiting we were so hungry that we had to control ourselves so badly from like ravaging the cake lah!! it was so calling out to us i tell u..

-went into their place... some nice guy let us in so we didn't have to ring the pple up to press the button to release the gate for us. thanx mr nice guy! meet michael and geri and they were preparing the food... (nice pple that they were, they woke up so early to like buy and prepare the food... thanx to them we had more than enough food to go ard) and then we proceeded to wait for the bday girl...

-we went to hide... ahhahaha and our timing were a little off.. so it's was like "SURPRISE!!!!" then like 5 mins later, the cake with sparklers came out. we had trouble lighting the thingys lah.. in the dark somemore!!! hahaha i tell u....*** best surprise on eelis ever!! she was so shocked and touched that she was tearing lah!!! *** if anyone know eelis, wld know that she not very easy to deceive lah! it's like HELL HARD TO BLUFF HER.. but this was so well planned that she didn't even suspect!! woooohooooo!!!! we gotcha good this time man!! (i'm so sure she'll get back at me soon lah... cos she was like pointing at me and said, 'what u doing here ahhh???!!!! huh?!!!!! she's definitely getting back at me sia... oh man!! i must be careful)

- ate like steamboat man!! woohoo! real good sia.. had 2 kinds... one chicken soup base... and the other tomyam soup base.. hahahah so yah! kinda cool.. with all the yong tau fu/steamboat food. the 'nor hiong' and beef balls were particularly delicious.. i had like a couple of rounds.. cos it was so damm nice and plus the sambal that my nikum made.. wooohooo! power sia! anyways, went thru one round of intro with like eelis' ex-housemates from vickery house at curtin. really fun pple man!!

- after dinner, had like a couple rounds of drinks.. i had my first tequila shot man! i wld say that it's nicer as compared to a vodka shot. and of cos the bday girl had the very first shot for the day lah! eelis ah.. she's like power lah... damm sei the way she drank it all down. then we had like shots of baileys and like baileys with milk! that conccotion is real nice man! yum!! hahaha had cakes.. and another round of drinks.. the cake was real good lah

- they started playing bhangra music.. which was a refreshing change from the usual r&b and rock songs... and i must say... it was not that bad at all.. in fact it was quite infectious and got me moving for a bit!!! her ex-housemates are like party animals lah.. they were like dancing away and all.. really nice moves man! found out that there were a large no of gujeratis in kenya (not a racist statement here... but more of discovery) cos one of their frens, ruppi, has a bf from kenya who's a gujerati. which was pretty cool i must say! he was teaching us kenyan swear words.. and some indian ones.. hahaha real cool!! now no one wld know that i'm cursing them..except the kenyans and indians.. but of cos wld not be so stupid to like scold them their own lang lah! hahahah and yah found out that her ex-housemates know how to scold hokkien swear words lah! talk abt power sia... hahahahhaha!!

- eelis opened the pressies and i must say she really got some nice pressies man!! and i wanna kill someone.. cos someone stole something from me... but i'm not going to say who is it.. cos later very obvious.. hahahahaha anyways if the person read my blog the person wld know that i'm talking abt that person.. ahhaha yuppers... we were a bit ditsy at that time ahhahahah laughing and all.. but oh well!! mish picked us up... and we went for bubble tea while the rest headed down to the ruby room to like chill!!!

all in all, i wld say that it's been a real good surprise and kudos to illissa for having plan such a awesome thing!!! and their frens were really welcoming man!! and fun.. had loads of fun today sia.. ahhahah!!! and HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY once again my dearest girl!! lub ya!!!! (altho not officially her bday yet lah!! tmr gotta wake up early for floorball and picnic.. ahhahah
